Re-Imagining Change begins by recognizing the primary needs of struggling communities worldwide. Food, Water, Education, and Leadership Development.
Damascus Road trains men and women to develop their natural leadership abilities, so that they in turn can care for their respective communities. DRI provides intensive leadership development over the span of many years. We identify and invest ourselves into committed individuals, who focus on the successful transformation of their respective communities.
Pastoral and Seminary level education is one of our greatest strengths. Working in concert with U.S. Seminaries and Colleges, focused studies equip leaders with knowledge and necessary tools to grow individuals and communities. As Damascus Road develops relationships within local communities, we then develop practical solution to address adequate food, clean water, and developing micro-economy concerns. Working in concert with academia, collaborating with industry, professional consulting disciplines and government, Damascus Road brings hope and opportunity.
United Methodist Pastor: June 2004 to July 2012: Growing people and communities. Revitalizing congregations, spiritual growth, evangelism, community and international missions. Cooperative partnerships with local and regional business. Budgets, building project plans, small group development, leadership training. Personally involved with international water and agriculture projects in Uganda, Africa and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Consultech Engineering – President: December 1990 to June 2004: Founded, owned and managed multi-million dollar, multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm. Numerous state and federal environmental projects located throughout southeast and Caribbean. Assessment, Mitigation, Remediation. Responsibilities included contract negotiations, proposal development, project management, personnel, finance, project planning and design. Published.
