On the Road Again – I left Monrovia after the last minute opportunity to be with Dennis Aggrey at the Lower Jungle Road community near the airport. Great vision and insight on CRCA’s part! A seminary – a large lodge with rooms, dormitories and classrooms. The agriculture programs and plans were / are impressive to say the least. Dennis specifically asked that we help with the teaching and training, as well as any support we could provide – beyond money. This is where we want to connect – of that I am confident.
I arrive at the airport, and suddenly realized that the three hours I spent walking around with Dennis, in addition to the high heat and constant thirst for the week, brought me to a point of exhaustion and dehydration. I sat down at the entrance to the Airport, only to be told that I would not be able to enter for almost 2 hrs. Dennis graciously left me there, sitting on my bags, as he drove away to get me a bottle of water. So much for remembering the Boy Scout motto on my part! Be Prepared!
So I was thinking that I had premium seats again on this flight to Nairobi – and then on to Entebbe with Kenya Air. The older plane had a 1st class section and a LARGE coach section. I realized that my seat assignment placed me in a row where my seats would not recline. FYI – further future planning – I believe the plane had seats A,B,C from left to center, and G, H, I from center to the right. Seat 7C or 7G would be perfect for reclining and leg room. Stay away from row 17 – the seats do not recline !!!
